I'm pissed off right now, I have this dent in my hip from a cortisone shot and was never warned of any side effects. The id**t nurse who gave it to me was new and was getting instructions by another nurse in the room. The other nurse even told her she didn't do it right, right in front of me! I even asked is it going to be fine and they said yes. Wrong! Now I'm living with this hideous dent in my back/hip area because someone didn't know how to do their job. It's been about 8 months since the shot and it's just gotten worse over time! I didn't even know what it was until recently. I also read someone got an ovarian cyst on the same side where they got the cortisone shot. I also have an ovarian cyst on the same side where the shot was injected and now It's causing so many problems I'm having a laparoscopy in 2 weeks and having it surgically removed. My ob was shocked I had one since I'm on birth control pills. Ive never had an ovarian cyst. it's possible it's from the shot since I read it happened to someone else but I'm still not too sure. I wish I would have been warned that the new nurse didn't know what the hell she was doing and I would end up with an ugly dent and other problems which now I'm having surgery for. I'm just really upset and I think the nurse should be fired because she doesn't do her job right, she doesn't know anything and us always clueless.
