I developed a chest infection over Christmas and although antibiotics have cleared up the majority of the problem, I was left with a very sore chest from excessive coughing.
Today, as I coughed, I felt what could best be described as the sound of a crisp packet exploding. It was across between a pop and a crack. Now I am not just in pain when I cough, but permenantly. The pain has also become much sharper, even the shallowest breathing is incredibly painful.
Does anyone know what I could have done? I'm worried I've cracked a rib or something. It is located just on the left side of my chest, below my breast.
