Hi, my father is 67 years old and he had heart attack several weeks ago. He was in very serious condition and his doctor prescribed him medication called Inspra after he came out from emergency room. I would like to know something more about side effects of this medication.Thank you.

Hi, Inspra is drug which may be prescribed to the person who is experiencing hearth failure after heart attack. This medication is aldosterone receptor blocker which helps to reduce retention of water and salt in organism. Side effects may be caused by accumulation of potassium which this medication may cause. Also some other side effects may be cough, dizziness, headache and flu like symptoms.
