Can it be bad for your health? :/

Can it damage your health or something? cause I split mine and this is the second day I never knew splitting pills could be bad but read that some pills are bad splitting can anyone help me out here? is this tagament pill bad to split ? it has no line in the middle. should I be worried? :/ There is one site it says "Cimetidine tablet may be split and taken at half the dose" but some people say if there is no line on the pill you shouldn't split it in half and what I noticed is that some of the Cimetidine pills have the line and some don't like these and they are the same 300mg.
