Thin Again tablets

I got the same ad in the mail. It sounds good. But I am also curious if anyone else has tried it. They show pictures but you never know. I would like to give it a try. I have tried alot of other diets and diet pills and nothing.

I, too, have received the mailer that advertises for Thin Again diet pills. I called their 800 number and asked several questions. The young girl on the line told me what was in them, (450mg Chitosan, 150mg CLa, 300mg Calcium, and lots of vitamins). I aslo asked what the success rate was and she said about 89%, with about 5% reorders and only 6% returns. (Their return policy states that if you are not completely satisfied with their product that you can return any unused portion for a full refund, minus the $7 shipping charge, and whatever it costs you to send it back via registered mail.) She said that the reason there are not more reorders is because once you lose the weight you aren't supposed to gain it back and they don't reccommend you take any more once you lose the amount of weight you want; so most people lose the weight they need and no longer need the product. This could be true, but it could also be that people just find it doesn't work and don't feel like going through the hassle of packaging up the unused portion and taking it to the post office and then waiting for a refund. This is how a lot of companies make their money; they bank on the fact that most people won't use the garuntee. That is why I went ahead and bought the highest availiable amount, 6 bottles for $125.95 plus shipping. This way if I don't get results I will be more likely to send it back to get that bigger chunk of change back in my account. I figure that if I don't lose weight then I will send it back and lose only $7. And if it does work, then it will definately be worth the 130 bucks that I paid!

Don't waste your money! I did and I lost NO weight.

By the way, the label does not list Chitosan, it does, however list Chickweed, which is growing rampant in my yard. If you would like to send me some money, I'll send you my chickweed! This is what is showing on the bottle verbatim:

CLA/Chick Weed 450 mg
Psyllium 150 mg
Licithin 50 mg *I'm not sure if this should be lecithin??

It then says "Take one capsule daily with a large glass of water before your meal. If no result after a week to increase to one (1) every meal or call us for more information." I thought you were supposed to lose at least 3 pounds in the first week! I thought you only had to take one pill a day! Don't waste your money! I'm curious if the other person who was foolish like me lost any weight, or if they were smart (unlike me) and sent it back.

Don't waste your money. I've tried for 2 weeks now and lost no weight. The gimme on the flyer loss 3 lbs in one day is not true. They mail in an envelope with no information....sure you can return if you knew how.

I took the be thin pills quite a few years ago and I was hooked on them. They use to have ephedra in them and I was real thin. To the point I looked sick. If the ingredience is still in the pill, you will lose weight but isnt worth the damage you can do to your heart. I am on the adkins and with in 5 months, i have lost 50 lbs and I have alot of energy. it takes alot of will power but it does work and my cholesteral has gone down from 190 to 134. That worked for me. thanks

The thin again pills have something called DHEA in them.  That is on the banned substance for the NCAA.  It is in the anabolic steriod family. 

Tina, I have been trying to find out how much it cost because their site is down. I got a sample last month and tried it and yes, it does work. I have cravings in the evening, but taking just one pill in the early afternoon took all my cravings away so I want to get the bottle of them. Thanks for the price. I do wish they had coupons for them though.

I can't understand why it didn't work for you because I only had a sample and it curbed my appitite tremendously. You do know that you can't usually go by weight, don't you? I learned this on one of the health sites. Why, because a lot in your body is made up of muscles and they weigh more. I'm pleased and will get more. Oh, you do still need to have a regular exercise routine, even if it is just walking at least 2 miles a day. This is how I feel about Thinagain, but just wished they had a coupon for it or a better deal than you having to opt for three bottles to get any free.:)

I took the earlier version of Thin Again (which contains, among other things, 99mg of caffeine/pill -- but no chickweed!) and it definitely was effective in curbing my appetite and increasing my energy and my mood. I only took half the recommended dose (1 pill/day instead of two pills).
But beware - if you have adrenal exhaustion or are taking thyroid medication it could really mess up your hormones. Apparently the caffeine was too much for my already-tired adrenals and just burnt them out. I would recommend having a good 'wellness professional' (many chiropractors have a lot of knowledge about nutraceuticals and the delicate interplay of hormones, etc. - but most medical doctors, in my experience, don't) check to see if your system can handle it - or recommend something that won't just give you a short-term solution while compromising your health and burning out your metabolism or your adrenals - causing the weight to eventually return.
