Is my penis small for my age? my dad has a big penis so I thought I would also have it

I'm 13 and just turned 13 in October of 2017 and my penis is 2.5 inches at erect. In scared that a may have a small penis. My dad has a big penis so I thought I would too. To help you answer my question better I'm just starting to grow a small bit of armpit hair. I have some hair around my penis and its a little curly. Hey there so it sounds like you in the earlier stages of puberty and your penis definatly has time to grow... don't worry about that... and while penis size is genetic remember you only get half of your genes from your dad and different traits can skip generations so you may or may not have a penis with a similar size to your dad..... do you have any brothers?

Also what do you mean by sometimes your testicles hang low and other times they go back in?

finally are you overweight at all?

No I am not over weight I'm an a average sized and just have a little baby fat I think but I Don't have abs and when I get it a warm tub of water or is in a warm steam my testicles drop but when I'm in a folder area just like getting out of a pool it shrinks

I don't have a lot of fat of me but I don't have and but I'm not overweight either probably just some baby fat. But what I mean in stead of go back in it shrinks like when I take a warm bath or my body is warm my testicles drop but like getting in a pool my testicles shrink

Ok well that is a normal response... sperm cells are very picky when it comes to temperature and they don't survive well if they get too hot or cold so our body is smart and makes them hang lower (away from our body heat) when it's warm/hot and closer to our body (they shrink) when it's colder ... I asked if you were overweight because sometimes with overweight people they have fat on their pubic bone around their penis and that can hide some of their penis.....
