Because you need to ask the question the answer is:  Don't do it!!!!!!!

Also because you say you are dating a highschooler, I think you are younger than that and that would definitely be DON'T.

Sex doesn't prove love and at your age it may ruin it for YOU forever or at least for many years to come. Please don't do that to yourself.

It is probably illegal and he could go to prison for rape because you are not legally old enough to agree to have sex. He would then be considered a sex offender and have to register with the police every where he lives for the rest of his life.

At your age you wont know what to do. That's natural. 

My feeling is that it is likely to happen. If you guys make out and pash and enjoy heavy petting and oral sex, full on sex is VERY likely to happen. 

Just be prepared. Make sure you have protection available, so if it does happen at least you both can protect yourselves and come to no harm ie pregnancy.

It is very easy for people to advise you not to do it. Let me tell you, the sensations and sexual arousal can really get so overwhelming and out of hand you are likely to go on to have full blown sex. Happens to us all. 

So, my advice is to have protection at hand so if you do want to have sex and the temptation is intense, make sure he wears a condom and that way you are protected. 

Dont be scared. Sex is fun and really enjoyable.
