I have been on birth control since March-April 2012 (sprintec) i am now on continuous birth control (still sprintec, just constant) and have been since the end of January 2013. I take my pills as directed, maybe 1-2 a couple of hours later than normal (shouldn't increase pregnancy risk). My doctor chose to put me on extended birth control because of a dermoid cyst on my only ovary. My boyfriend and I had sex on March 10 & 11. On the 11 we used a condom with spermicide in the shower (I don't know if that was the best thing to do) the water didn't directly hit the condom from what I could tell. When he went to take the condom off it had kinda stayed in me and don't know if any contact was made. I'm only 18 and very paranoid that there was contact. I've been having breakthrough bleeding since Feb. 17, because of the birth control, so I can't expect a period as reassurance. When could I take a home test?
