I've been off of my period for a few days and my boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex and I am not currently on birth control =/ I know, not too smart. Earlier today I went to the bathroom and had a very wierd and very dark brown, thick discharge of some sort or spotting, whatever you want to call it. My periods are always normal and I never spot throughout cycles and have never experienced this before. I highly doubt it would be implantation bleeding (then again who knows) because if I ovulate like most women do then I wouldn't have been ovulating when we had sex. Is it possible that my body ovulates sooner than normal? my cycles are shorter , about 25 days. Anyone have any ideas?

it's unlikely that you are pregnant. i can't really explain your problem. i think it's just coincidental, wait and see if you miss your period and if you do take a home pregnancy test.
as a side note, some women ovulate more than once a month, this is why "real" contraceptives such as the pill or condoms should be used as the exact function of your fertility cycle may be quite different than what you imagine.
