About one year ago a friend was prescribed both for bipolar disorder. Until then his eyesight was perfect but since his reading eyesight has deteriorated rapidly although his distance vision is perfect. Is there any connection of his reading eyesight to either lamectal or wellbutrin?

I have been dating an epilepsy patient for 3 years. He’s been on Lamictal. I do know that vision can get blurry sometimes but he didn’t experience any eyesight impairments.

Lemictal is the medication that is used as anti epileptic medication and it can be used with other medication to treat epileptic seizures in children and adults. The fact is that this medication can cause side effects as any other medication. So if you notice high fever or swollen glands you have to know that this is caused by this. Also painful sores in or around your eyes are also an side effect from this medication. However if you notice any of these side effects you have to go to the hospital and see if you can find another medication to treat your condition. I hope this helped a bit.
