Large, yellow, jelly-like substances in my semen. Erection diffuculty.

I have this exact same issue.. every time the yellow jelly stuff comes out then the regular stuff.

My Fiance and I have been trying to determine why she keeps getting UTI's. Lets face it, condoms suck.

I always clean it before and after sex but she still gets them, I was worried this yellow ejaculate was the cause like I had some sort of infection, but std screenings and blood and urine test come back clean.. WTF? 

Anybody elses woman get constant bladder infections from this?

Im glad I found this forum. I also went to a urologist and dark urine tests only implied not enough water and no urinal tract infection. I'd been living with this since it started (odd lumps in white) around 17, had actual intercourse at 21 just one time, then feared what a girl might think when it increased in yellow lumps. Now almost 40 I can see the ties. I drink a lot of water but had become a heavy smoker and drinker, probably thru the depression that any person might have. I'm sure these chemicals are no good. I do also prefer meat over veggies. And crave salt like crazy. This is the result of treating our bodies like a playgound instead of a temple I guess. Thanks everybody for the enlightenment.

Im 24 years old and also have the gel in my semen. I see a lot of you are scared, but i really do believe you dont have to be. I've had this since i could first ejaculate (so you could say i'm a bit of a wanker). So it's not a STD or some sort of infection. 

After reading almost all of the post and doing a lot of research, i do believe it does has something to do with not drinking enough water. Cause i drink quite a bit of coffee and beer and can even smell the difference when i have dis or dindt do so. Also it makes the amount of gellow more.

I have also been scared, but i'm not so much anymore. This might sound weird, but i quite like the build up. It can be quite an extreem orgasm, especialy when you don't worry about it anymore. I think also because the gel like substance is heavier than the semen, i can shoot it quite far! My girlfriend and me laugh about it sometimes. Especialy when i hit the roster on the side of my stereo, hitting the electricals inside, causing a flash wich fried it. 

Anyway, i do still have 1 question. Do most of you with the gel also have a lot of semen? Cause for some reason i have loads. I shoot/unload between 4 and 7 times, and every shot contains gellow and a lot of semen. The first load is always the one with the most gellow btw. A long worm sometimes. I even came in a glass of water once to see if it was actually a worm. You cant immagine how scared i was for it to move, but it didnt. Please tell me if you have the same or if i'm worriying about the wrong thing here.  

For those who do experience pains, i think it is something else if it REALY hurts, and if your semen is NOT white/watery white, you should see a doctor.

Guys pardon my ENGLISH . if there's jelly substance in your sperm that means your perfectly healthy... Basically what happens is your sperm clots whenever you ejaculate... it's fine actually because due to the food that we've been eating and water consumed by us are basically a little even it's 7-8 cups a day wouldn't really help due to the global warming ... What I suggest is consume healthy food and lifestyle would really make a difference.... If this helps then I thank you guys for giving me a chance to help those in need ^_^

Figured I'd say something about this. I've had this "problem" for around 10 years, 27 now. I have them, small or big, nearly every time I ejaculate. Whether I masturbate several times a day, or go upwards of 2 weeks before doing it. I've never got them stuck like other people have said. It sounds like people have it more severe than I do because I've never noticed a blockage, nor anything during peeing.

 

I find them fascinating and as disgusting as it might sound, often examine my sperm afterward to see how many or how big the jellies are in that particular load. I don't see why so many others are ashamed of them and feel they need to hide it from their SO's.

 

As for my diet/protein/hydration levels. Well they have varied widely over the past 10 years so I cannot attribute it directly to that. The only variable that has remained constant is that I have been obese the entire time, though I don't believe that is the issue.

 

While I haven't had any kids yet, as others have pointed out this isn't a sign of infertility. I for one don't mind it at all. On a side note, I sometimes think that they actually create an intensified sensation during ejaculation when they move through my urethra. It might just be my imagination, but sometimes my best climaxes yield a high number of jellies along with it.

Not that often do I get no jellies in my semen, but when I do the look, feeling and everything is nearly identical. Besides the mention earlier about feeling like the orgasm is better with them.

I'm no expert, but the other day I was with a girl and we were fooling around all day without actually getting the chance to have sex, and so naturally I got blue balls super bad later in the day. Then the next day I masturbated after it was gone and these yellow jelly substances appeared. Since the horrible pain of blue balls is caused by your body having to re-absorb the sperm it had mixed with ejaculate fluid back into the testicles, I believe that perhaps this fluid can be either recombined sperm, old ejaculate fluid, or a combination of the two. After all, jelly compared to sperm is really just more dehydrated than sperm. That's just my guess though :D

hi i just noticed this see through yellow kind of lumps in my semen like yours but im not on medication and not depressed im 36 and married with a baby do u or any one know what this change is please worries me it could be the start of cancer or something

Just thought i'd put my 2 cents in here to put some minds at ease.

Quite a few of you mention that you take anti-depressants. If you don't, then i'm sorry i don't know what's causing your yellow jelly. If you do take them however, read on:

Well, i'm 33 years old, and i've been on many types of SSRIs for depression since i was about 14. Lovan, Prozac, whatever. It took me a while to figure it out, but every time i started taking any of these SSRIs again, i would develop yellowy jelly clumps in my ejaculate. They are easy to feel coming out when ejaculating, and sometimes an extra "squeeze" is needed to push the whole lot out. Sometimes it's little pieces of jelly in the rest of normal ejaculate. Sometimes the whole lot oozes out and is jelly. Seems to depend on how much pre-ejaculate / prostate fluids there is, which has a direct correlation with duration of sexual arousal/stimulation. (The longer you hold off ejaculating, the thinner the ejaculate is)

I have had no other problems like pain urinating or anything. Just the yellow jelly.

Without fail, stopping the SSRI clears up the yellow jelly within approximately 2 weeks. Every. Single. Time. Which is at least 4 times in my life. Start taking SSRIs, get yellow jelly, stop taking SSRIs, ejaculate returns to normal. Repeat 4 times minimum.

Do yourself a favour and ask your doctor/psychiatrist about trying a different TYPE of anti-depressant. A good one is Wellbutrin (the active chemical in it is Bupropion). Definitely helps with depression and gives you an extra kick of energy to boot. Helps with appetite and weight too. Also, it has zero sexual side effects (save for extremely rare priapism), and will not make it hard to maintain an erection, like most SSRIs do. I noticed some of you who mention anti-depressants also mention other sexual problems such as Erectile Dysfunction. Stopping SSRIs will most likely fix that as well as your yellow jelly.

Semen is typically whitish or pale grey in appearance, but yellow semen is also normal. The jelly-like globs are also normal and should not be  a cause for concern unless there are other symptoms, such as urethral pain, frequent urge to urinate, fever, or a foul odor. If your ejaculations are truly painful, and not just unpleasant because you are worried about the problem, it is a good idea to see your doctor. In the meantime, be sure to care for your penis by cleansing every day and applying a penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) to boost your disease-fighting ability and keep the skin smooth, supple and responsive.

i also got yellow jelly stuff in my semen before(but just small ones). But after i take zinc supplements, my semen has turned white again.
