The causes of jelly-like sperm is the massive concentration of protein compound of your sperm in your "testicular sperm bank"..usually those teens that masturbate actively for years and suddenly refrain from doing it have a greater chance of having this stuff(though its normal). Because during the time youre still active in masturbation your testicles produces more sperm so it needs sugar and protein to produce a liquid substances wherein your sperm swam. so your brain may senses that during your frequent masturbation or sex maybe, it send a message to your testicles to produce more of these substances. Consequently, to the certain point of time you did not masturbate for along period, the sperm and protein base liquid in your testicles may over reproduce and the tendency of this if you were unable to let it ejaculate, it will accumulate in your testicles and becomes highly concentrated. and Subsequently this causes your sperm to look like a jelly - like substance...its normal as long its color varies from white to yellowish and no blood or black or green.if you have some symptoms of pain after your ejaculation, observe for sometime and if it doesnt stop that's the time you consult a doctor.

No STD's, Yellow Semen, Jelly like clumps, sounds like a stealthy infection. One that is currently an epidemic in the U.S. is Lyme Disease and Associated Co-Infections. This is very hard to diagnose. I recommend a Western Blot test any bands that come back pos. you should see a llmd. I also recommend testing for h. pylori despite popular belief that a neg stool means you don't have it, when infected with lyme all tests for everything go haywire. If you can, do a CD-57 with labcorp or IGeneX; not Quest or any other labs they don't do it right. This will show you your immune system is down allowing pathogens to strive in your body. Yes, even your scrotum where their is a wonderland of bacteria.
If you don't believe me have your doctor culture your semen. This is not normally done but you'll see you have entero, stapho, and some rare organisms. This is bacause your immune system is not keeping them in check.
Test for lyme and co-infections with a llmd. For more information go to www.ilads.org

During the process of ejaculation, sperm passes through the ejaculatory ducts and mixes with fluids from the seminal vesicles, the prostate, and the bulbourethral glands to form the semen. The seminal vesicles produce a yellowish viscous fluid rich in fructose and other substances that makes up about 70% of human semen.[1] The prostatic secretion, influenced by dihydrotestosterone, is a whitish (sometimes clear), thin fluid containing proteolytic enzymes, citric acid, acid phosphatase and lipids.[1] The bulbourethral glands secrete a clear secretion into the lumen of the urethra to lubricate it.
Totally normal. Eat less sugar and drink more water and it should clear up. If you dont want to eat less sugar, thats fine too. The clumps wont go away but you'll still be perfectly normal.

Semen is supposed to become liquid within 20 minutes of ejaculation (after collecting semen sample in case of your partner. If it takes long, it means deficient enzyme activity causing a problem with continued coagulation which means the sperm is not free and released to fertilize the ovum (eggs released from the ovary). The semen does the same thing outside as it would have done inside the reproductive tract. Yes, the prostate gland secret most of the thick fluid for the sperms. Sperm (male seeds) come from the testicles. Here is the full explanation....
The prostate glands secrets and contain several chemicals, of which prostate specific antigen (PSA) is probably the most interesting. PSA is an enzyme, a catalyst that causes biochemical reactions, in this case a type of enzyme called a coagulase. The prime function of PSA is to liquefy the clotted semen, so that the spermatozoa can escape from it and swim off to fertilize the ovum (egg) in the woman's reproductive tract.
Please note that PSA is not specific for prostate cancer. No! I did not diagonise prostate cancer in your husband. He is only 33 and too young for that. Please also know that PSA can be elevated in prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate), as well as BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia).
As a side note, because PSA is called specific antigen or protein for the prostate. It is a coagulase meaning that it is an enzyme that dissolves or eat away fibrin (much like invisible cobweb) so that sperms are free to swim and fertilize the eggs. So they are necessary and this is peculiar with prostate and the way God designed the male's reproductive biology.
Some natural whole foods and supplemensts like zinc, magnesium, selenium, lycopene, and B-complex vitamins especially B6 can balance the PSA (enzyme level) so that the liquefaction time can be corrected back to normal (20 minutes or less). In fact, zinc is the reason semen is white. 5 ml ejaculate (one round) eliminates 15mg of zinc from the male body.
Please don't forget detoxification, cleansing and eating right by both couples. I have seen raw fruits and vegetables correct hormonal imbalance and bring the semen back to normal liquefaction time. Fertility and superfoods also corrected other semen parameters. Evaluation of both couple is encouraged for wholistic approach and to uncover other infertility factors that needs to be corrected.
