When I was 16 I lost 2 stone (I've always been chunky), but on my 17th birthday I weighed 11stone and I looked and felt awesome! However due to looking and feeling fabulous, I met my first boyfriend and therefore my wonderful mother was screaming BIRTH CONTROL at me and the idea on the implant was great. I've had it for 7 years and during that time gained 5 stone! I have tried so so hard to loose the weight, and I really get into these diets (I have an obsessive type of personality) so I'm good at dieting, I even got into running last year and I've lost zilch! It has come to my attention it might be the implant - what does anyone think?

Thanks for being honest. I was looking for a relationship between my weight gain and the implanon, l eat less(small portions, no sugar, no fat), l take 3l per day, l take a lot of fruits and veggies instead of snacks, only veggies soupe at night, 1h exercise per day, ....for 5weeks now but l am losing nothing at all. I feel depressed
Then if l remove it, which contraception is better? Thanks again
