i have a lump in the fold of my labium. Just like a hard pea, i can actually roll it in my fingers. Been there may be a year, no pain, can you perhaps point out if it just a cist or could it be something more seriouse.

Hi i had a lump on my labia, it started as a pea size and a week before my period it used to swell up. It was painless. I went to the gyno and he said its bartholin's cyst. He told me it wont go away on is own and will only annoy you and can get infected causing you pain. I got scared to do the 15 min surgery because I am a virgin. So i took some warm salty baths, and salty sitz baths and gently rubbed over the cyst to drain it. The reason it swells is because fluid gets blocked in the bartholin's gland duct. it needs warm salty water to unblock it. But you have to do this 10mins everyday and then rub the area with a blend of olive oil with a drop of cajeput essential oil. But be careful not to put the oil inside or close to he opening of the vagina as it might sting for around 5 mins. Similar to a menthol cooling effect. This oil helped soften the hard like pea size cyst. Now its completely gone. Swimming in the beach also helps open the blocked duct. Hope this helps. goodluck
