I discovered this lump on the inside of my wrist. I am an avid gardener and my first though was that it could possibly have something to do with that. It is hard, about the size of a grape, and it just will not disappear on its own, or so it seems. What are your opinions on the matter? What could this be?

Did it just appear overnight, or did it develop gradually? My first thought is that it could be a cyst, especially since you mentioned that it is the size of a grape, which makes me think that it is grape-shaped as well, which would fit in with the idea that it is a cyst. If so, it should be easily treatable. Your doctor can drain the fluids.

You are right, the lump was just there one day and since it is pretty difficult to miss, I am sure I noticed it as soon as it appeared. So you think it is a cyst then? Could that be something serious, or is it practically harmless? I think it is time to call the doctor in any case, but thoughts and suggestions are still appreciated!
