I recently had a ct scan of chest, abdomen, and pelvis, in addition to a bone scan. All tests ordered due to pins and needles in all four limbs, and excruciating pain mainly in feet. And ongoing pain in ribs, groin, etc. for over a year. Also, loss of balance when trying to walk. My ct scan showed a 2x3mm nodule in rt. upper lobe of lung. I should mention a chest xray from an ER visit in 2008, showed interstitial changes possibly due to smoking. I have NEVER smoked a day in my life. Now, they find this nodule. Anyway, I already had basal cell carcinoma on face and mid upper back, as well as adenocarcinoma insitu within all four quadrants of my cervix. Had hysterectomy, and tubes and ovaries removed a year ago. Pain continues. Radiology report says if history of cancer, to follow up in a year! My mom died of breast cancer at 54 and grandfather (her dad) died of lung cancer. I am apalled that dr. said/did nothing about this report. They insist I have neuropathy (which I'm beginning to agree) and also fibromyalgia (which I think pain is from nodule). I would love if someone responds to this for me. SO sorry it's so much info all at once. Thank you in advance.
