Hello everyone. These past 2-3 weeks i have noticed a mass behind my left testicle. Its soft and at some points painful when i go over some bumps on it. It’s not really smooth but kind of veiny and goes from the bottom of my left testicle, along the back up to the top of the scrotum. I feel a little pain randomly on the left part of my pelvic area, more specifically near the top of my scrotum to the left of my penis (looking down).
The testicles are about the same size but since there is something behind the left one it pushes my left testicle out more so it is in a different position then the right testicle. When i sit down i can feel my left testicle kind of pushing on my left thigh.
Anyone know what this could be? I have not yet gone to the doctor but plan on telling my parents soon but kind of delaying it, don’t really want to tell them if its not necessary.
Also want to add I’m 16 years old and not sexually active.

Yeah I have this problem aswell have no clue what it is. I run my finger round the back of the tube at the back of my testicle feels all bumpy and veiny really weird.

Hey man I've had the same problem for awhile it's stressing me out. I'd really appreciate any info you found helpful, part of me thinks it's aggravated by my mental state. Doctor wasn't helpful. But any info would help, I can't stress this enough I'd be eternally grateful.

Just behind the left testicle it feels like there's a blockage in the tubes and/or veins, and I feel a tugging feeling on my testicle like it's contracting all the time. Over all it feels like there's a knot behind there and fluid or something builds up or the epididymis becomes swollen, after urination and ejaculation i'll have discharges for the next couple hours like i don't fully release all fluids in the first place; it seems to squeeze out later.
Sorry if it's not very coherent i've been trying to exercise and not think about it but it's definitely causing problems i've left it so long i've forgot the original symptoms it used to be tender at the bottom of the testicle now it's just numb

This could be a condition know as a vericosele they are most common on the left testicle and can cause a heavyness especially when the temperature is hotter. generally the back of the teste and up into the cord feels similar to a bag of worms.

Thank you for the prompt response unexpected but very much appreciated. I'm 26, what would you recommend (it sounds like what i've got) do I want to see a urologist? or get a ultrasound or something.

Hey there, your very welcome! obviously I can not tell for sure if its a vericocele or something else so it may not be a bad idea to get it checked out by your family doctor/GP you may or may not have to go to a urologist depending on what your doctor thinks. if it is a Vericocele they are generally benine and most guys just deal with them unless they are having troubles with fertility or they are causing activities like walking running biking etc to be uncomfortable.
