Metformin 1000 mg/day, one month still no period but symptom

Hi everyone
Im taking metformin 500 mg 2 times a day for insulin resistance to bring my weight do a little so i will hopefully start my periods.

I havent had a period since October of 2008 after i quit my birth control.

Well i know metformin hurts your stomach and stuff but this feels really different than the other 3 weeks i have been on it.

My boobs and nipples have hurt for the past 4 days
I've been getting some headaches
I feel like im cramping sortof
im really bloated
during the day i become nauseated and sleepy for no reason then it just goes away.
and some food smells are just making me need to lay down and take a break before i hurl.
I havent been hungry either but i know i have to eat healthy for my meds to help me lose weight.

Do you think im about to start AF? I have never had any symptoms before when i used to have my period, even when i wasnt taking my birth control. I would only get cramps when i started.

Or could i be pregnant?
