I was just reading about this. He has concerts in London O2 arena in July, and he is diagnosed with skin cancer. They say that they found spots of skin cancer on his upper body and some pre-cancerous cells on his face.
Also he would be treated by award-winning cosmetic and skin cancer surgeon Dr Ralph Massey.
He has been seen on many occasions going to his Beverly Hills dermatologist wearing a mask and surgical cap.
He has 50 gigs to perform and he is reassuring everyone that he will be prepared for every one of them.
Everyone from his team is 100% sure that he will come back in a big style, and that he is in his best shape.

I used to be quite a fan of Michael Jackson until all this "stuff" came to be.
I followed the Court proceedings and was dissapointed when they found him "not guilty". As far as this skin cancer thing is concerned, look at everything he has done to his skin and body. Maybe all the chemicals in the dye that he used to turn himself white has caused him to get sick. Vitaligo my foot. Just my opinion.

Well he is a good musician, but his life is another thing. I really do not want to comment that. He has a lot of good songs that are still popular.
And to TayaTaya, i don't think that he had skin cancer earlier. I think the this is a new thing.
Also I'm not so sure that he will be able to go through all those concerts. He has a lot of gigs to go through. What do you think?

It's his music i like. I pretty much grew up with the Jackson 5. I remember seeing them on the Ed Sullivan show many years ago. Since then i was quite the fan. He still has a hugh following and he is still quite the artist. He is also quite excentric. I have several recordings of him solo and with his brothers, which i listen to quite often.
I still say that due to all the chemicals and face lifts and nose jobs and cheek implants and skin dye and what all else he done to himself is the reason why he is not very healthy. Continual abuse of what God gave you has to take it's toll sometime.

I agree on abuse thing. It just not nice all the things that he has done to his skin and face. As an artist he is just great.

i used to think he was cool, liked his musics etc etc, until he betrayed his lineage, which was pathetic but yeh...poor guy.

Many are very in to his music, and his music is very good. And his talent for this is unprecedented.
But many don't like him for what he has become with all plastic surgeries. And I feel bed for him sometimes, he has a great carrier. All his bed publicity has just made him look very bad.
I would like to go to one of his concerts, but don't think that I will be able.

Now he wants to make a Neverland in UK. He is renting a country estate for his 50 gigs in UK. He wants to have fully-functioning funfair installed in the grounds and a bowling alley built in the historic Foxbury Manor in Chislehurst. Now if you ask me this is just too much. I don't know how you fill, but considering his cancer problem this is totally unnecessary. But on the other hand he is so rich that he can afford this.

Do you have a favorite song of Michael Jackson's? I really liked Bad and Beat it and Thriller, but then, there's always other songs that he did really well. I don't think I've liked much of his later stuff at all but I certainly do enjoy his older stuff. Do you have a favorite though?
