You should not be worried it will pass through.if it dose not pass in 1 or 2 years you should go to the docter and see what he/she thinks. They might suggyest these treatments:push lightly on the boy/girl's belly like you would when someone is drowning. Then
the penny will jump out of the mouth but before it goes down cach it or it will go back down in the throught to the belly.or:ask the docter if he/her can have surgery.

Im sorry but I would not take advice from medical advisor0168542 you need to take your child to the doctor or to the ER bc the materil that a penny is made of can sometimes burn throught the intestines and leave a hole. Any type of copper, metal, ect. This needs to be takin care of by a preofessional and do not press on the childs stomach bc your son isnt choking it is past the choking part it is in his digestive system. And bc it is not digetible it will not break down. The best advice I can give you is take your son to ER and get ultrasound done to see where it is and how much of a risk your son has. I hope this helps you out hun!!! Best of Luck
