ok guys i know alot about this so listen. if there is blood and/or clots in your sperm you will need to keep drinking lots of water and lemon juice this will help clean out you urinary track dont drink anything carbonated or with high fructose syrup in it so follow this and it should be gone in a week but to make sure after like 3 or 4 days wank or have sex with your wife or girlfriend or someway to ejaculate and if it still has it then see a doctor for antibiotics and if its getting better keep drinking water and lemon juice and try again in 3 or 4 days just follow this and it will be gone in a flash but if its not then there might be something seriously wrong.

Okay, I don't care if you are fifteen or not you do not have to tell your mother why you need to see the doctor. You have the rite to tell her, " Mom, I need to see a doctor about a private matter". She should respect your privacy. You have that rite. If there is something serious, then you can include your parents in the discussion. Until then, it is no one elses business. I have a seventeen year old son who has had discussions in private with his doctor for years. I trust that if there were a real problem, she would insist that he would disscuss it with us. Moral or religious issues have no place in medical disscussions. If your parents can not get past this, that is not your problem.

Hi
Im 26 years old
Just had sex with gf and noticed quite a lot of blood in my seamon it was completely red.
I looked at the sheets and noticed that there was some dry bloody on it which must have been from when I masturbated this morning.
Im quiet worried because I always think the worst. Im gonna go to the doctors soon and get checked out.
Fingers crossed that all is ok :/

I will update you with what happens

It is really important to get it checked out if u have had the same thing because it could be serious. If you are young and worried about telling ur parents or doctor please dont be. You parents will be understanding and so will the doctors its there job.

good luck to everyone else with this problem

It is scary to notice blood in your semen (ejaculate). It is likely that you will immediately think that you have a serious disease, such as cancer. Not so; most of the causes of blood in the semen are not serious. There have been several scientific studies of this problem and they all came to more-or-less the same conclusion, which is that the likelihood of finding a reason for the bleeding depends on your age (Update 2004;68:6–7, International Journal of STD and AIDS 2002;13:517–21).
In people under 40 years old, no cause can be found in about one-third and the problem usually goes away in about a month. Trauma, such as a kick in the groin, may be the reason in some of these men. In the remaining two-thirds, the cause is an infection (such as chlamydia, gonorrhoea or trichomoniasis. Over 500 people with blood in the semen were involved in the scientific studies, and cancer was not a cause in anyone under 40 years of age, which means it is very unlikely, but not impossible.

In people over the age of 40, a cause can usually be found. It might be infection or a prostate problem, or some other cause. Prostate cancer has to be considered, especially in older people, but is not a common cause of blood in the semen.

Could the blood have come from your partner, and not from you? This is particularly likely if she is at the beginning or end of her period and the bleeding is not noticeable to her. If she is not menstruating, but you think the blood is from her, she may need a check-up. Use a condom the next few times you have sex. This will enable you to examine the semen and be sure the bleeding is from you.

The male reproductive system has a lot of tubing and the source of bleeding could be anywhere in the system. If the blood is red or pink, it most probably comes from the urethra (the tube inside the penis). If it is dark, it may come from further back (such as the prostate or an area called the seminal vesicles). Because one of the most common causes is inflammation in the urethra or prostate gland, sometimes because of an infection, it would be sensible to have a check-up at your local genitourinary medicine clinic. Otherwise, see your family doctor.

Blood in sperm, also known as hematospermia, can be caused by several different factors. One is that the man has recently suffered an accident that affected the groin. It might have been something as traumatic as falling onto the bar of his bicycle or something as innocent as being hit in the groin accidentally while playing sports. Both of these can result in blood in sperm.

Sometimes one of the blood vessels that are located where the sperm is produced becomes irritated. This can result in a small amount of blood entering the seminal fluid and being released along with the sperm. The man glances at it and sees the blood and naturally becomes concerned. In this case the blood will generally disappear on its own after a few hours or days. Once the slight injury has healed the blood is no longer present.

Another cause of blood in sperm can be an infection. In this case there may be other symptoms present including a fever or pain. The man might feel that his groin is tender to the touch. This could be an indication of a bladder infection.

It’s important to visit a doctor if you do see blood in semen. There is a rare chance that it is related to prostate cancer and so having it checked by a medical professional is a good idea. For men under the age of 50 it is rarely the cause of the bleeding though.

If you do feel that it may have been caused by an injury and the blood is still present after a few weeks it’s prudent to see the doctor. They can exclude anything more serious as the cause and suggest things you might do to speed the healing process.

It’s also wise to visit the doctor immediately if you notice blood in sperm along with any pain in the anal or penis area. The same is true if you are experiencing frequent urination or difficulty urinating.

For a young, healthy man blood in sperm is usually nothing serious. It’s something that happens to many men. If you receive the assurance of a doctor that it is indeed nothing to worry about you can then relax.

i thought i'd throw my story in the loop because it's slightly different. i'm 23 and today my spunk had a good amount of blood in it (but no pain). right afterward my urine was clear and aside from a small red scab-lookin' thing, no blood.

one day about 2 years ago, i had a very similar situation only my sperm didnt seem to have any blood but right afterward my urine looked like pure blood ... so i freaked out and called my docter. he said that if it happens again i should go to the hospital. but it didnt happen again.  i mention this because aside from the blood being in different fluids, it was pretty much the same thing.  also, once in a while i see alot of blood on my toliet paper after a #2.. could these be related?  i take adderal (40mg/day avg.) and also suboxone for opiete withdrawl.  i told my current doctor about the bloody toliet paper, and he said not to push as hard , and when i told him i pissed blood before he didnt seem too concerned so i guess im looking for a second opinion or someone who's been in the same boat.

by the way whoever "spaffmunky" is...  go fu*k yourself.  it's already embarassing and scary enough to ask for advice. oh, and having blood in the skeet don't mean we have a whole roster of s.t.d's. like your confused ass.  i mean, why do you care what people post on here anyway? it's not like any of us are going out of our way to talk sh*t on whatever beastieality orgy website you go on...  and if your so anal about correct spelling then learn how to spell "monkey" ya D-bag.

well the thing that catches my attention is that the poster's username is 'mtnbike'.
i went 25 years with zero ejaculatory issues...until i started riding a certain new road bike. anytime i go longer than 40 mins on the bike my penis goes slightly numb and i end up with bloody jizz the following ejaculation.

my online research for this has mostly lead me to thinking it is a temporary damage to the peritoneal choad area.
