I want to help some of you who may be scared about some side affects seeming abnormal. My Diane 35 experience was so mixed. My condition before starting Diane was that I had very very rare and painful periods (my doctor now is doing tests to see if polycystic ovaries are a cause). No problems with hirutism or weight but I had bad acne as a child that is mostly gone

First two months were amazing. On the pill, my oily skin was gone, I went from 54kg to 50kgs, I used to get small persistent breakouts but that was completely gone. "Periods" were painless and regular. Birth control effect was perfect.

But when it hit the third month and the whole third month I started having extreme nausea and bad bloating. I mean, debilitating nausea. I couldn't talk or move when a wave of nausea hit. I'm really scared of throwing up so I just grit my teeth through the nausea. So my pill consumption was still consistent. I lost another 5kg dangerously, just from nausea and not being able to eat at all. At first I was scared I was pregnant because the nausea was accompanied with breast pain and spotting but I had been perfectly consistent with the pill. I was not pregnant and the whole ordeal was due to Diane. Even though the pregnancy idea was completely irrational given the circumstances, Diane had given me severe anxiety that I never had before. My blood pressure also got dangerously low and my heart beat was very weak.

Most of these symptoms disappeared after I stopped Diane, (it's been 4 monthssince). Nausea and low blood pressure is gone but my oily skin and irregular painful periods returned. My weight is still low and I still have anxiety.

I was scared of my symptoms because it was not the typical case of "these are new hormones you need to get used to it". I had already gone through two months of perfection and suddenly had side effects after the stage that my body should've gotten used to it. So that was my experience.
