Hi, when I was a child, I had often nosebleeds. It didn’t happen to me for a long time. Now I’m 19, and I’m experiencing it again. Few days ago, it started bleeding again, and it bleeds for few days now. It doesn’t bleed all the time, occasionally it stops. But as soon as I try to walk or to run, it continues. What should I do?

Hi, my son has nosebleeds often, and I was very worried at the first time. But when I took him to doctor, he said that some kids get nosebleeds more often than the others. Their veins are close to the mucous membrane of the nose, which can easily cause the burst when the child blows or rubs their nose. I think that this kind of bleeding is called a lower end nose bleeds. The causes of the upper end nose bleeds are usually high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, side effects of medications and bleeding disorders. Maybe that’s exactly what you had when you were a child, and maybe that’s the reason why your nose bleeds again, for few days. However, I think you have to visit a doctor as soon as possible. You could have some of those underlying causes, that are much more serious than simple nose bleeds.
