I am 20 years old and about 4 months ago at the end of august i had sex with my ex. I have had no sexual acitivity since. I had my period for the three months following that and i am like 99% positive i saw clots and stuff.. But I have still not gotten my period for the month of december. It is now the 5th of january and i searched other reasons why you might miss your period and it listed stress (which i have been extremely over this), I am also just getting over being sick and getting off of mucinex D, and they also listed a dramatic weight loss but I have lost 30 lbs since may (still dropping) but i dont think thats drastic compared to the amount of time it took me to lose it. And today I had cramping for the majority of the morning so i thought yay im getting my period but when i went to the bathroom and wiped there was (sorry not to be gross or give tmi) this thick muddy brown stuff about a dime size amount so what the heck is that!? since yesterday and today i have had two headaches too and i noticed a vein in my chest the other day and my nipples look different. I also keep getting a weird feeling in my stomach once in a while it feels like a growl but when i googled all this they said it could be due to pregnancy... I dont want to be pregnant! Please help me!

Hi honey! You are NOT pregnant!! What I REALLY suspect is that you have an infection - and you need to have a vaginal swab and then ask for an ultrasound - to see if you have PCOS! Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrom! Which can give you the EXACT same symptoms as pregnancy! Also due to you being stressed out and unwell, this could be your period coming on - and the brown stuff - will be old blood build up from your uterus (which would make sense) so 1st try and relax and take a VERY warm bath - to see if your period comes on! Even have sex (if you are in a relationship - protected of course ;-) ) which can kick start a period OR even masturbating increases your progesterone levels - which inturn will help with your period coming on! REALLY try and relax honey, I think your period is right around the corner! And jus tknow that MOST women have wonky periods - due to stress and illness OK? Good luck and healht!
