hi, I'm 20 years old and i've had an irregular period since i can remember i usually get it like once every 8th months, so for some reason this time i got it for about a month, so in an attempt to regulate it i started taking birth control and still does not go away.... i"m desperate i've had my period for 2 months straight and it does not look like its gonna stop any time soon... Hi, i now exactly how you feel. I had the same problem. i keep bleeding for 45 days until i got fed up and went to a GYNECOLOGIST. The doctor prescribed me birth control pills. I had to take 2 pills a day, one in the morning and one at night. I had todo this for 2 weeks. Eventually my period stopped. On the third week i took just one and continued until i finished with the placebos, which eventually gave me a period and i started a new pack. My period regulated, that is why i could start a new pack....
