I had one hemorrhoid banded 6 weeks ago, and was supposedly to have 2 more appointments to do the rest.  I have been in pain since the minute the band went on.  I have my two morning BMs about 30 minutes apart (I think a habit so I don't strain) I'm still bleeding, and then within one hour, I'm in full blown spasms and pains worse than labor pains.  I've been back twice for follow up and another doctor for 2nd opinion.  Both say I need to have an exam under anesthesia.  I have tried everything under the sun.  Currently on the channel blocker and benzocaine ointment.  I order GABA and will try it for the spasms.  I don't want an exam where (if I have a fissure now from the wound) why do I need it split open more? I also do not want my sphincter cut.   My pains lessen as the day goes on and by the time I wake up in the morning, I feel good.  Then I poop and it starts over.  My life is ruined.  I am miserable.
