My 9 year old daughter was complaning of chest pain and I took her to the ER there they found out that her BP was 212/193 they sent her with a Specialist and diagnost with High Blood pressure. They did several test (CT San, VUR Reflux test ect), the Reflux came back positive. It also showed that her right Kidney is smaller than the left (almost no kidney) they, at first thought her right kidney was so distroy because of the UTI’s she had, had in the past but then they said it’s because of her been born with a smaller kidney and then the UTI’s worsen it. She’s taking 4 medications a day for BP and for the UTI’s and we have to check her BP twice a day. The MD say’s she will have to take medication for the rest of her life. Is there anyone out there that had the same problem and now is not taking any medication? I would hate for my daughter to take medicine for the rest of her life being so young.

for your bodyfriend condition, if he can recieve effective treatment, it is very possible to repair his kidney function . if untreated, the condition will be very terrible. if you are willing, you can send me his condition.

I'm a doctor for kidney disease.

glad to hear that his condition is improving.but the western medicine can just control the symptoms. it cannot repair his damaged renal tissue. if for a long time, I think the further deterioration is inevitable.
so he'd better receive the effective treatment as soon as possible. the longer the time delay, the more difficult the treatment is, the more the expense is.

GFR (glomerular filtration rate)means the volume of urine filtrated by the kidneys per minutes. the normal range is 80-120ml/min.when the kidneys are damaged, GFR will decrease, and when it decreases to 30%-40%, the serum creatinine will increase.the treatment should focus on repairing the renal lesion (means damaged part). you can know something about the treatment ingerating with western treatment and Traditional Chinese medicine treatment. the western treatment can control the clinical symptoms, and the then using Traditional Chinese medicine treatment to treat the disease from the root cause. But for the specific treamtent process, I must know your boyfriend real condition.

My right kidney is small I also have calclum stones with in my kidney so my right kidney is damaged and there's nothing they can do as to remove the stones because I will lose my right kidney completely so I have to put up with it .i don't really get any trouble from it.
