One kidney smaller than the other

Hi, even my self i have the same problem and Dr tald me its normal as long as it performing 100% - 70% of its normal duty.
Thank God i have some one we share the common problem because i thought i am the only one in this world had this deffect. Although Dr did not specify couses. He said may be i have born with the condition

Hi my left kidney is the normal size but my right is about a quarter of the size it's supposed to be . My mum always tells me the story of when I was born my mum said she doesn't know if that happend when I was born or wether I was two and if happend but no one really knows how it happend .

Hi. During pregnancy the gynae discovered that one of My kidneys is smaller (4cm), and the other 12 cm (due to compensation). After delivery further tests were done. The little one is also functioning. So don't u worry. Got two healthy kids and I am healthy too.

Hi my daughter was born with a kidney smaller than the other one as well the right one is smaller than the left one and she has had BLADDER infection UTI infection KIDNEY INFECTION well yesterday she was sick to her stomach she seen Dr today and they did a cathotor to check her KIDNEY to she why her KIDNEY is not putting out enough urine like it needs to
I as a mother am so worried sick .she is 21 years old she is all I have my only baby . Will she need dyalasis or will she lose her kidney

My right kidney is 38 % and my left kidney is 62% .I am not sure what that percentage is of but that is just what my doctors have told me. They told me it is normal and most people with one kidney live perfectly normal

My left kidney is 3cm smaller than my right I found out that I have artery wrapped around my left kidney that's why my left kidney smaller and I don't know what to do and I'm in pain on my left side

I would go to a doctor to find out second opinion of why they said that because it's not supposed to be like that now I my case having a kidney 3cm and wrapped around a lot of things could happen with me and I can get kidney disease

I was told my left one was half the size of my right and Hardly working at all but I was sent home diagnosed with bladder infection that medicine is not gonna help the kidney right?
