Hi, eversince I had my first baby, in 2003, I have experienced a lot of pain and quite often some minor bleeding after sex. I have had another child since, in 2005, and the problem has not improved. I did not have stitches with either birth. The first birth was at 34 weeks gestation and the entire labour lasted one and a half hours. The second labour started at 32 weeks gestation, but after a hospital visit, stopped and then I ended up delivering at 38 weeks after a 5-6 hour labour. One doctor said I need to use more lubricant, but this hasn't helped.

This sounds exactly like one situation i was having a while back, are you finding it painful to pass urine at all?
it might be a UTI (urinary tract infection) which is very common in pregnancy, its bacteria that gets inside your vagina and causes painful intercourse, but.. it could be a cyst, go to your doctor and find out what it is!

Thanks for the reply, but i've also had uti before, so know what that feels like, and that's not it this time. and am currently not pregnant, all though would love to be, just can't be, because of the painful sex part.
