I'm reasonably new to sex and to start with i found it uncomfortable and slightly painful. I know this is normal and so ignored it, eventually it stopped and i no longer found it uncomfortable.
I have just started taking the mini-pill cerazette and sex has become painful again, more so than before. It feels as if i am too dry, and i was wandering if the pill may have changed the amount of 'wetness' on arousal?

Birth control regulates the hormones in your body and stops the reproductive system from ovulating. Therefore, you don't produce ANY eggs. Therefore, you can't get pregnant.

It may be that you're just not aroused enough. I suggest that you play around a bit before insertion (assuming you're with a guy). Kisses on the neck, stomach, and soft touching can be very stimulating. Get very clear about what feels good. You might even want to make a list of turn-ons. And then, try it out. You'll know when you're ready...and it will be a lot less painful.

You might also consider going to a gynecologist in case you are experiencing a vaginal infection. Dryness may be a symptom of another cause.

when taking this sort of pill (not sure of this one specifically) dryness is often listed as a side effect. Its possible that the pill is causing or at least not helping the problem.
You might want to get this checked out by a professional though before you base any actions on what I say...
This is coming from a guy who
A) has never been with anyone who has taken cerazette pills and
B) has never taken (or for that matter needed to take) them lol

how ever if it is too dry you should have noticed almost right away by the extreme discomfort
if you do notice it in the future you might wanna stop asap... you could end up doing more damage than its worth
