Hi,
I am a foreigner, I am actually from Russia. I appologise for my poor English, but I do need help.
I Have been studying in America for two years by now, I have never been to any doctor here before (have insuarance from my university though) and don't know any policies on that. I have never been to genecologist (wemen's doctor) at all. Well, I was once, when I was 21, she was very rude, remarked on my being vergin at such an age, I cried and went away. I could not help it. Anyway, I have got married a month ago. I love my husband. We tried to have sex (how do you call that?) and I am not sure that we succeded. We did it three times, it was very painful, and my huspand stopped after he felt it pains me. Well, the pain went away in next half an hour. After the last of those attempts I have blood spotting for 10 days already. It is not enough to call it "period" though I must have my period now. I have never experienced anything like that. I am worried enough to call a clinic for an appointment with a doctor. The only time available is in 2 months from now. They said that if I have an emergency I must go to the hospital, but I don't think this is an emergency. Still I am kind of worried. What should I do with my husband? Am I fine? Could it be a problem? Can I still go to the doctor if it is not a problem? Just in case? Is it OK here in America? What can I say to the doctor? Am I, as we say in Russia, making a bear from a bee?
Also we were not planning to use contraception, we want children. But now I think may be it would be wise to use it. Till I know I am all right.
I will be very greatful for an advise.

I assume you were a virgin the very first time you had sex with your husband. Pain and bleeding is normal for a woman who just lost her virginity. Some women have more pain and bleeding than others; some have none at all. Probably what happened is your vagina isn't used to the stretching that's required for the penis to be in you during sex. Also, the bleeding is probably because your hymen broke and it was bigger than normal or you tore during sex. Again, this is normal, but ten days of spotting is a long time, so you may want to get checked up. However, you're probably all right, just need a bit of repair.
As for the pain, perhaps you're not using lubricant or enough of it. If you and your husband aren't using lubricant, start. It's important to use, especially when new to sex. It'll assist with pain.
Do you have any light colored discharge? If so, this could be a yeast infection and getting it treated would assist with pain relief.
I suggest you see a gynecologist again. Since the woman you went to before was rude, go to a different one. You most likely will have much better luck with getting treated well both physically and emotionally.

BedsonTrudeau,
Thanks a lot for the reply. Yes, I was a vergin, and I understand that some pain and blood in the circumstances is normal, but I am worried about the spotting that lasts for so long. The appointment that I can get to check myself is in 2 months from now. So what should I do in the meantime? Should I keep my husband on some distance? For how long? For how long must the spotting continue to get really worried? I am probably panicing without a reason, but in fact I am new to all this business and don't have a person to advice me. At all:(
P.S. The gynecologist I mentioned is in Russia, so at least I don't have to see HER again:)

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
Why are you waiting two months to see a gynecologist? See one now, in America. The longer you wait, the worse the pain or the problem could get. If you're worried about insurance or money, ask yourself if it's worth it to keep waiting on this, since it's making sex and life uncomfortable.
Have you tried using more lubricant? If not, try that immediately. In the first year after a woman loses her virginity, doctors advise ALWAYS using lubricant and enough to make things comfortable.
