How long do people usually have to take presciption pain meds after Hemorrhoid surgery. My surgery was four weeks ago and I still have to take 1/2 to 1 after a BM. I have tried taking Alleve or Ibuprofen but end up having to take something stronger. I am getting worried about it!!

I was on pain meds (digesic) for 4 weeks straight and was worried the same as you, but as long as you are starting to move around a bit i wouldn't be to worried about it.
