I have been taking paracetamol for a number of months for arthritic pain in my knee.  Back in October after a knee replacement, blood tests revealed abnormal ALT , my reading was 79 ..

I am now afraid to use paracetamol because of this... I can not tolerate morphine, codeine or the derivatives so as you can see I am hard pressed to find painkillers.

Do you know of any alternatives.
