Hi, I am 54 years old male and I am suffering from seasonal allergies and high cholesterol level in my blood. For my cholesterol I am already taking Lipex. I have visited my doctor last week and I complained about problems which allergy caused to me. He prescribed me Polaramine and told me to avoid driving. I wold like to know why did he tell me that.

Hi, Polaramine is antihistamine medication and same as other medications of that group it may cause sleepiness and slow down reflexes. Also Lipex which you are already taking is also has similar effect so it may cause serious problems for your reflexes and reactions. I suggest you to accept suggestion of your doctor.
