I am a 17 year old female and about three weeks ago, I noticed a red bump on my vagina, at the top of my labia. At first I didn't think much of it because it wasn't bothering me. But now it's getting more uncomfortable. Itchy, but not painful. And tonight I noticed that there is another one. I wash there every night. I've never had sex or oral sex but about three years ago, I let my boyfriend at the time touch me down there and he had been touching his penis I think only a few seconds before. I wouldn't be worried because it was so long ago but then I learned some STDs can take years to show up and I'm freaking out and I don't want to go to the gynecologist because I'm scared and it's too embarrassing to talk about with my mom. Please help, I'm really scared.

Hey, so firstly I think it is impossible to transmit a STD only by touching, the only possible std that could be given this way would be Genital herpes and even then he would have to have open soars with mucus and touch you with the mucus its just about the only possible way. So its pretty much impossible that you could get a STD so easily maybe besides crabs that can be given through sheets or clothing, where is the itchiness?. Now the red bump how ever it could be many things perhaps sebaceous cysts which are glands or hair follicles that get infected (shaving more recently?) or perhaps a vaginitis. Ofcorse going to your doctor would be a better idea.
Are the bumps getting bigger? Are they like pimples, or more like soars? The itchyness could be linked to vaginitis does it burn when you urinate? If it is a vaginitis it could be caused by a new soap, or underwares that are not made of cotton (if this is the case trying natural yogurt down there insides and about does miracles and is a good home healthy remedy). If its cysts you can always try an acnee solution containg salicylic acid It burns a lot but will make it go away.
Hope this is somewhat helpful. But really i doubt someone could transfer a std simply by touching you even if they touch themself unless perhaps semen is involved in the touching...
