Hi everybody, after suffering a year with internal prolapsing hemorrhoids, I decided that I had to do something about it, because it was affecting my life at a point and i could hardly leave my home, I am a 30 years old female, in good health otherwise, not children, so after trying rubber band ligation for many times, it didn't really work so my surgeon suggested to try the THD hemorrhoidectomy surgery, however he warned me that if I had too much hemorrhoidal tissue he may have to cut something. Well I had surgery friday august 10/2012, and now is august 14, 2012, basically 4 days after surgery, I had my first bowel movement yesterday, and even when I thought I was passing a mellon, I didn't had to push and my stools were very soft, today same story, the bowel movement was not a big one, rather small. What worries me is that when I go to the bathroom it feels like I am passing a huge mellon through my butt? have anyone feels something like this after this type of surgery, I am scare that the amount of contractions that the rectum does to go to the batroom, and the rubbing of my stools toward the stitches will end it up break it thme. Also today I had a small bowel movement, it was soft and skiny however I like a substance that looks like tissue mixed with blood, maybe a couple of milimeters of diameter. I am worry that I broke some stitches or I made damashed to my self, I still have a pain and pressure in my butt, it is not hideous, but it is bothersome enough to stay home. Have anyone have gone through this? I am beyond scare, this surgery was my last hope
