My hamrroid operation was 7 weeks ago I had ligation removal. 7 weeks of agony . I developed an infection even though I did everything right, sitz baths, antibiotics . I ended up with a haemotoma in my anus which was agonising . More antibiotics and anal cream. I never had a problem passing  stools I fact I now cannot stop passing stools which leaves a burning and stinging pain. This surgery has left me with little control over my bowel movements. I am currently in hospital again having anal dilation due to narrowing of the anal canal which my specialist / surgeon said has these symptoms . With each bowel movement blood is present quite a lot too. My advice to anyone with hamrroidsvis to avoid surgery as what I am going through is far worse than my hamrroid ever caused.
