My hubby & I are TTC. I got my Implanon out 12/06/12. I started bleeding the next day. That lasted 4 days.
Anyway my hubby & I DTD on 12/12/12. I started spotting red & pink on 12/24 - 12/26.
Could that have been Implantation bleeding? I took a test & BFN.
I also have some twinges & slight cramping in my left ovary & uterus.
When should I retest? My periods are very irregluar.

Hi Jessie! I usually tell women to wait a good 21 days before taking a test - this is usually definitive by then! Gives the HCG levels enough time to really show. Implantation bleeding usually happens around 5 days after not 2 weeks - it is the Zygot burying into the lining of the uterus! I would think that because it hasn't been a month since you removed the Implanon, your body is a bit out of whack! Let her get back to a rhythym and then try. See if you get another period by this time next week. IF not take 1 more test. In the mean time, there is NOTHING wrong with still trying. Start taking prenatal vitamins it HAS to be them. These have been shown to DRAMATICALLY increase your chances of conceiving, don't drink, smoke, take drugs etc. Get your husband to also take vitamins - these help with his fertility also! With your period being wonky it is hard to find out when you are ovulating - most women describe twinging, white discharge, pain around the ovaries or in the lower back. so look for those signs too! Help nature by placing 2 pillows underneath you and lay like that for as long as possible - helps the sperm get through the cervix etc. I wish you good luck and a healthy happy bambino, if you have any further questions just ask away OK?
