My boyfriend and I had protected sex 13 days ago. The condom did not break. I have NOT had the normal signs of pregnancy (nausea, tender breasts). My period is due in about 4 days but when i went to the restroom this morning there was a light pink discharge with my urine. I put a tampon in hoping it was my period, but when removed there was very little pink/red. Could this be implantation bleeding? Could it be a sign of pregnancy? When would be the best time to take a home pregnancy test?

It could indicate implantation bleeding. The timing is about right.
You need to wait AT LEAST two weeks, preferably three, to test. IF you test tomorrow, be sure to use ONLY your very first morning - wakeup - urine. It is more concentrated so more likely to give you an accurate result. It's not how much urine there is that matters. The less diluted your urine (darker) the better.
Don't try to make yourself urinate by drinking lots of fluid.
If you have a "normal" period, then it is unlikely you are pregnant.
