Hi Guest,
Bleeding for 9 days, light and heavy, does not sound like you were pregnant. But, since it was different, take a home pregnancy test.
It can take several months to a year to become pregnant. Timing is the key. You need to figure out about when you ovulate which is usually between days 11 and 16 of your cycle. Day 1 is when your period starts.
Sperm can survive about 5 days, the egg about 48 hours. So, having sex between about days 6 and 18 is a good guesstimate. There are ovulation test kits that can narrow this down.
Wait at least two weeks, preferably three, after having sex to test.
Good luck.

No. You CAN NOT have a period if you are pregnant. During your period the lining of your uterus is shed. If that happens and you were pregnant you would lose the baby - miscarry.
There can be some bleeding but it is NOT a period.
Take a pregnancy test. Use your first morning urine (wakeup) for the BEST accuracy. Good luck.
