PLEASE HELP ME!
i have had unprotected sex not too long ago, and im very concerned about pregnancy as i am experiencing several symptoms. i have had bad cramps such as those i experience when my period is on heavy flow but so far, my period has not come. i do however have reddish brown vaginal discharge that has been going on for the past few days. the first time i had it, the discharge was pretty red so im guessing there was quite an amount of blood in it. but now, the discharge is just reddish brown. i also experience lower right back pains, strong more frequent urges to urinate, and pain during urination. about 2 days ago, there were very frequent strong urges to urinate but when i do go to the toilet, hardly anything comes out. is there a high possibility that i am pregnant? or is it just a urinary tract infection?

i had the same symptoms, went to doctor and she said its most likely an infection. going back tomorrow for results

I have been having very similar symptoms. 6 days ago horrid UTI symptoms out of the blue. (no spotting or back pain at this point) I went to the doctor on day 3 because they are all concurrent with past UTI symptoms I've had.
When I went to the Dr., they said I had no UTI and did a pelvic exam and several inter vaginal swabs for further lab tests. They asked me if I'd been having back pain, which no I hadn't. I'm pretty sure it's just a UTI or yeast infection that has gone farther up into my plumbing now (since all they did was a urine dip test), especially with last night's sudden and awful back pain - primarily on the right side. Or it could be PMS. I'm still pretty stumped, especially since this is all happening right in my normal premenstrual week.
The original poster's symptoms do not sound like pregnancy to me (I am not a doctor, have no medical training). Could be dysmenorrhea or just a really awful period. I would see a doctor, but only if the pain continues with these type of symptoms. I did not go until my UTI pain/urgency continued for 3 days and cranberry juice just couldn't kick it. The Dr. would not prescribe any antibiotic for UTI (oh, but she did give me 2 scripts for gonorrhea AND chlamydia medication on absolutely NO basis other than the urethral pain. foolish pharmaceutical company droids! I refused those prescriptions, so watch out - don't let them give you prescriptions for anything that you HAVE NOT tested positive for. Wait for the test results) I am still waiting for my test results, but my period should start in the next 2 days. If not I will post to follow-up.
If you have these kind of symptoms, good luck to you. I know how helpless and hopeless they can make one feel. Lots of cranberry juice and gallons of water while never leaving the toilet is all that gave me relief on the first few nights of the UTI pain. And the symptoms are still kind of there, even 6 days later. Don't feel foolish, do what YOU have to do to get well.

Hi this could surely be a UTI.. I had the same problem some months back.. You should go to the doctor as soon as possible other wise it might get worst...
