Had stapled hem surgery last year in Dec and been fine till this morning when I woke up and went to the bathroom...had much blood in the toilet.  I havent had to worry about it for so long. 

I am taking ativan for sleep and wondering if the 1 mg tab per night could cause this.  also had lasagna and I know tomato paste is not good.  Salad for lunch and dinner.

When I had my last colonoscopy I was dxd with diverticulosis and IBD (2011). 

 

Any ideas?  Anyone else going thru this?
