I am from India , Asha 47 yrs. Underwent Hysterectomy a month back on 10jan 2017, in the process rectum was injured but the doctors were unaware and completed the procedure , 1 day later the stool leaked in the stomach area through injured rectum and situation turn ugly life threatening, immediately it was diagnosed and 2nd operation was performed to save life, rectum was stitched and a colostomy was created (bypass) which I was told would be reversed in 6 months once rectum is healed completely. Now after 1 week stool os passing through vagina and I understand it's a rectoveginal fistula. Now I sm in no condition for any further surgery and Doctor told to wait go 2 months and they are hoping it will heal by on its own, if not they will do a recolestomy as some part of stool is passing through current colostomy. Is anyone out here have any experience like this ..it's horrible and saddening am not even able to walk at this moment and very scared ... What to do were to go.. feeling hopeless.. Please suggest
