I had sex with my wife the night before her period. The next day the tip of my penis was itching. Im uncircumsized and I let it go for a week and seen a doctor. He looked at it and prescribed me Omnicef 300mg antibiotic and sent me on my way. He didnt really explain what was wrong. He just said that happens when you have sex sometimes so I thought no big deal. It doesnt burn when I pee no fever no nothing. Took the antibiotics, no luck. Then since it just seemed to be just the tip I tried monistat 7 it seemed to help I took it for almost two weeks and decided to quit to see if it was completly gone. And about 5 days later the redness is back but not as itchy almost no itch at all.

When I pull the skin back theres a slightly red ring around the tip of the urethra and thats about it. Maybe just a hint of an itch every now and then. It hasnt gotten worse. Im doing the monistat thing again. Should I go back to the doctor since its been 6 weeks? I know common sense says yes but I have no clue what I have plus it hasnt gotten worse in that time period. Im totally confused.
