I feel ridiculous because I don’t understand is fetus human being or not? What about DNA, is it formed….or it appears later? What is the story?

From what I read fetus is human, in the sense that it contains human DNA, but it is not human being. A fetus, like an embryo, has no means of independent physiological existence, so it is only a potential human being. Just like seed is a potential plant but NOT! You are not ridiculous, many people don’t know this. It does not have physiological independence outside the pregnant woman, but it contains all the organs and has the basic human form.

Pregnancy and 'personhood' are HUGE ideas of debate within the abortion controversy.

YES, a fetus is human, but not an independent human being like you and I.

Hon really states it well.
