I'm 22 years old and for about 1-2 months now I keep getting sharp pains near my Nipples and in my breast! Some people say they get pains when there about to start the periods but I have not had a period since 01-04-08 , I was on the depo shot for three years and never had one and then I got off of it back in march of 2006 and since then I hace not had a normal period it comes and goed once I got it for 2 months and then it would not come back for about 4 months, I went and seen a small town dr. and she told me that myglucose was high and that was what is causing the irreguler periods! But who knows I'm going to see another dr in a couple of weeks! Just wanted to see what was causing the pains there almost like a burning feeling it is annoying.

I am sorry I can't give you better advice but you just need to find yourself a good GYN..its impossiable to say what could be causing this without a complete medical history and exam. Were your cycles regular prior to the depo? If you came off of it in 2006 you should have definately regulated back by now. Without a doubt I would keep that appt with a different doc and maybe even try to get in sooner if it is bothering you that much.... I have had the kind of pains you describe but that was after implants and during pregnancy (I got pregnant 2 weeks after getting the implants and really it could have been from either one) If you are having unprotected sex you could be pregnant and getting a quality HPT wouldn't be a bad idea.
