I had this problem in Oct 2006 started out almost like a strep throat both glands in my neck swollen up ! i was tired sleepy and moody ... few weeks went by it went away 1 gland went down but the other gland expanded 1 1/2 time it size it Dec 2006 now and i lived with this pain everyday went to the Doctors had a check up gave me 1 week of Antibiotics but the pain never went away... the neck gland still swollen everyday I wake up feels like i got hit by a Truck! the pain tooooo painful Jagged pains when i swollow my food,water,pop, coffee, beer anything i swollow hurts ! has anyone experince this ... because I'm starting to think this is turning into a very bad thing that happening in my life ... nobody should have live with this

Did you ever find out what was wrong with your throat. I have been experiencing the same problems for 10 months now, doc says he can't find anything wring with me. I've not been to ENT but think I should insist.

When I swallow, I have a blockage feeling in the mid-chest. 2 or 3 sips of water will open it up. Why am I experiencing this?
