I tend to get a brief, sharp, severe jabbing pains about the head that occur either as single episodes or as brief repeated volleys. The pain resembles a stab from an icepick, nail, or needle and typically lasts from a fraction of a second to 1 to 2 seconds. Idiopathic stabbing headaches may have the shortest duration of all known headaches. The frequency of attacks varies immensely, ranging from 1 attack per year to 50 attacks per day. I thought I was getting them from washing my hair and going out in the cold. They make my eye, head and body twitch. Unbearable to socialize at that moment. I have fibromyalgia and not sure if associated with it. Mainly because every symptom I get always states it could b related and I dont want to hear that! I want to stop it with like a pill for now, you know? And asprin does not help! Oh and my hair hurts if I touch my head so slightly
