Is sildenafil (Viagra) something that should be avoided before an epidural steroid injection? I can't find it on any lists of drugs to avoid, but I have read that it is a blood thinner.

A week after epidural my whole face on the left side had stroke like symptoms. They told me it was a side effect of epidural due to elevated cranial fluid. Now, after six months my face on 1 side shifted and it is swollen again. What to do?

I had epidurals in 2018 and to this day-December 2022- I have severe spasms at night, that start around the injection area and extend to my head and feet. Nothing has helped but oral steroids, that I don't want to take anymore. Muscle relaxers don't do anything...

I have been wanting to look up this as I don't sweat all the time. I've been noticing that when I do, it's around the time I get these ESI injections.
Someone told me they thought it could be menopause. I thought I was going crazy with the profuse sweating, especially at night! I too have to change my cloths as when I get up in the middle of the night, I'm soaked! I have to change my clothes and put a towel or bed pad down so not to feel all the soaked areas of my sheets.
I wasn't sure what was making me sweat. I also sweat during the day too. I can deal with it more during the day then at night. I don't have the issue with my hands sweating or my feet. The ESI doesn't always work. It's trial and error or whatever it is. I feel better knowing that it is most likely being caused by the injections. I had a total hysterectomy when I was 37. I didn't have or go through menopause like others people have.
