steroid injections sideeffects?

How long did your symptoms last I feel like I'm going crazy and most of the same symptoms this is the second time this happend to me I instructed the doctor that I was allergic to steroids and he gave them to me anyways.

I have had bilateral facet injections and now have severe headaches and neck pain for 8 weeks straight. No solution from dr. C/4/5 disc protusion with radiculopathy, stenonis etc.. What happened with u?

I have had 4 injections in 5 months. Gained almost 15lbs. They wanted to give me a 5th one but postponed it a month. With it I will have 5 in 8 months. Trying for figure out what they are trying to do. Initial pain is gone but still having some pain. Enough that I can not be anywhere close to being as active as I once was.

I am in panic .it's 4 am and I still can't sleep.the pain in my shoulder is gone but the side affects listed are terrifying .I am pre diabetic and told them !They said higher blood sugar is only a problem for diabetics .now i find reports of people gaining 15 lbs!.is there a way to make the chemical leave my body more quickly? It can even destroy tenon -what I am trying to strengthen!

Quit sugar,white flour ,white rice and corn syrup.(the case against sugar by taubes -audio book on amazon) it will help you lower your bouts of insulin resistance and increase a petite control (satiety) good luck

Usually the steroid injections don't create hunger, only the steroid pills that you take daily.

Once you stopped these injections did you eventually go back to your normal self. I had 4 rounds last year, and now have to get tested for cushings as well. Thank you

I was found to have a pituitary tumor/adenma..I am on an inhaler for my cold & emphysema, I also take Celbrex for my osteoarthritis and RA..have also had epidural cervical shots every winter since 2009..
Wondering now after reading this, if this may have contributed to the pituitary tumor developing.
I copy and pasted this site..to show a neurosurgeon, once I find one. Many surgeons not wanting to go near me with only a CT w/contrast of head..they all seem to want an MRI which I cannot have, as I have medal implanted in my spine. (Not just titanium in spine, but medal cages for fusion of my vertabra)

I just got cervical ESI injections 5 days ago and broke out in hives today, above and below injection sites. Dr says he thinks I had a sensitivity to the cleanser that he used before giving me the injections.

Several years ago, I had three sets of injections and shortly after the third one, I developed hives over most of my body, severe itching. After several antihistamines and hives finally subsided. I struggled for nearly a year, alternating between Zyzal and ever decreasing dosages of prednisone.

Both cervical and lower.lombar steroid/novacaine. Losing my hair and it's a lot. Now I can see my scalp.Horrible side effect. I understand it grows back. But Im a woman who had beautiful, thick healthy hair. WHY DID THEY NOT TELL ME! !!!!!!!
